Sacred Heart Medical DietThe appeal of the Sacred Heart Medical Diet is perfectly understandable. Owing to the successful implementation of this rehabilitation method, several patients actually shed excess weight before going into surgery. Unfortunately, the hospital denies these allegations vehemently.

Regardless of their denials, this diet actually works very well at burning a lot of the calories you take in on a daily basis. This Sacred Heart Medical Diet regimen stretches for as long as a week, during which specific eating guidelines must be followed. In addition to this, it is largely an energy increasing dieting plan, which at the same time rids your body of impurities as well. Following this plan to the letter can result in a weight loss of up to 17lbs in a week! Okay, so what’s the catch?

There are several benefits which come with prescribing to the Sacred Heart Medical Diet, such as the necessary consumption of healthy vegetables and fibers. Unfortunately there is yet to be evidence of the diet being effective at dealing with calories. Apart from this, it is very precise but does not actually help you to sustain the weight loss over a long period of time. It is generally advised that you see a doctor before using this diet and be expected for the weight to return. It can prove to be part of a complete health makeover that encourages more exercise and an overall approach to a healthier eating plan, but the Sacred Heart Medical Diet is still just another passing fancy.
